Andie Romness is the head of Platform and Community for TXV Partners, an early stage venture capital investing in companies that fundamentally change the way we work, sleep, live, and operate. In this role, Andie is responsible for platform and community- being laser focused on all of our efforts to help our portfolio companies after investing, including recruiting talent, sourcing partnerships, and helping with strategic introductions. Previously, she worked closely with professional athletes including Lindsey Vonn and Christian McCaffrey.
Most recently, Andie was a Sr. Manager on the Corporate Partnerships team at Austin FC, the MLS's 27th Club and Austin's first ever professional sports franchise. While at Austin FC, Andie executed over 1,000 yearly contractual assets across 22+ partners, totaling over $55M in sponsorship revenue including the team’s stadium naming rights partner and three of the top ranked revenue partnerships across the MLS.
Andie is a graduate of the University of South Carolina where she was a 4x SEC All-Academic honor roll, four year starter, and team captain of the top 10 ranked Division 1 women's soccer team.
Marcus is a founding partner at TXV. He focuses on investments across consumer technology and software. Prior to TXV, Marcus was a partner at ClG, and associate at Vida Capital and MarketAxess. Marcus has been named to the ABBJ 40 under 40, the Dallas CEO 500 for both 2020 and 2021, and was recognized as a member of the Forbes 30 under 30 class of 2022. He serves on the board of Dallas based Trey Athletes. He received his B.A. from Princeton where he played on the football team.
Personal Facts/Interests - Marcus loves to explore new music - considers Classic R&B, Yacht Rock, and Country to be his favorites. In his free time, he loves driving to small towns in Texas and eating at the local restaurants - as well as getting a great workout every morning with his Future Coach, Matt. He considers himself a taco connoisseur. Originally born and raised in Louisiana - Marcus became a Texan when he was 10 years old and never looked back! He is sadly a die-hard Cowboys fan, and loves cheering for his Tigers and Longhorns on Saturdays.
Brandon is a founding partner of TXV. He focuses on investments across consumer technology and software. Prior to TXV, Brandon was a management consultant for Chartic and Stax. In 2019, Brandon was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve on the board of the Texas Chiropractic Examiners. Brandon was recognized as a member of the Forbes 30 under 30 class for 2022. He received his B.A. from Princeton. In Brandon’s free time, he loves to cook, hunt, read and explore the backroads of Montana and Texas.
A few fun facts about Brandon are: he can speak 3 languages, and converse in 5, he was on the varsity curling team in high school, and the first time Brandon learned how to drive, which was when he was 23 (Boston is a unique place), he crashed Marcus’s brand new truck..talk about a true friendship/partnership!
Blake Silver is the Chief of Staff at TXV Partners, an early stage venture capital investing in companies that fundamentally change the way we work, sleep, live, and operate. In this role, Blake manages the back office of the firm, supporting investor relations and capital allocation. Most recently, Blake led operations at Teneo, a national leadership network made up America's best leaders in areas of finance, law, policy, media, and the arts. Previously, Blake was a product manager at a Blockchain/RFID studio, where he founded a data visualization tool that helped track the spread of COVID-19. His work was largely focused on Aerospace and Aviation, being highlighted by Delta Air Lines, McKinsey & Co., and NASA for creating a blockchain/rfid platform for retail and inventory that ultimately laid the foundation for inventory standards aboard the ISS (International Space Station).
Blake is a graduate of Auburn University, where he received his Economics degree and met his wife, Rebecca. They live in Austin, Texas.
